Tenaris-Hickman Heat Treat Building Addition

The 115,000 sf. addition to the existing heat treatment facility includes three 12 metric ton 100′ span bridge cranes. The building is comprised of structural steel framing with a 53′ eave height on 12″ pipe pile foundations with reinforced concrete pile caps. The roof is a standing seam metal roof system with 20% of the roof area being translucent skylight panels. The entire project was designed and constructed in less than one year and It earned the 2011 Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction Award.
